It's not all about the house.

I made these rock pendants for the Lotus and Bamboo Festival at Buu Mon Buddhist Temple.  If you would like to have one of these, just come on out.  The festival will be the first weekend in June.

It's almost finished!

I wanted orange, but I ended up with peach.  Ain't that always the way?  Once I start working in my craft room instead of on it, it will look great.  You will need to scroll down to see the before pictures.  I'm sure you'll be almost as impressed with my work as I am. lol

Update – The walls are clean and the rug is out of here. I uncovered some problems on two walls. My plan is to leave it for a while to make sure they are dry and mold free before I repair the plaster.




On a completely different subject, I managed to pry open two windows. Woohoo!

Let's get crafty

Welcome to my new craft room.  Yes, it does need a little work.  We have wallpaper over a thin layer of plaster, and the plaster is over plywood.  Since this is a craft room, I intend to just throw stuff at these walls and see what happens.  I'll keep you posted on my progress, or lack thereof.  It will be good practice for the living room.
